Vouchers are digital, can be made out for any amount, come with their own unique code and are valid for 12 months. Perfect for Christmas, birthdays, anniversaries, Mother's and Father's Day.
How it works
Simple & Personal
1. Choose an amount
Any amount you like — a set amount towards a portrait, or enough to cover a whole commission. Just message me with the amount and who it's for.
2. Pay securely
I'll confirm the details and send you payment information. Once payment is received, your voucher is created.
3. Receive your digital gift card
You'll be sent a beautiful digital gift card with its own unique code — ready to email, message, or print and pop in a card.
4. They choose their portrait
Whenever they're ready, the recipient gets in touch, chooses their subject — a loved one, a pet or a special moment — and quotes their code.

Choose any amount you like
Most commissions are drawn on A3 paper — a single person or pet takes around 10 hours and two subjects around 15 hours. The voucher can go towards any portrait, whatever its size.

Can I choose any amount?
Yes — vouchers can be made out for any amount you like. As a guide, a single person or pet on A3 is around £150 at the Standard rate, and two subjects around £225. See the full pricing details.
How is the voucher delivered?
Gift vouchers are digital. You'll receive a gift card image with a unique code, which you can email or message to the recipient, or print out and give in person.
What can the voucher be used for?
Any custom portrait — people, pets, memorial pieces, couples or families, in pencil or oil. The recipient chooses their own subject and commission details.
How does the recipient redeem it?
They simply get in touch by Facebook, Instagram or email, tell me about the portrait they'd like, and quote the code on their gift card.
How long is the voucher valid for?
Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase, and the expiry date is shown on the gift card. If the recipient needs a little longer — perhaps they're waiting for the right photo, or the right time — they just need to get in touch before it expires and I'll be happy to extend it.
What if the portrait costs more or less than the voucher?
If the chosen portrait costs more than the voucher, the recipient simply pays the difference. If it costs less, the remaining balance stays on the voucher and can be used towards another commission.

It's one of the most popular ways to give a portrait — especially when you'd like it to be a surprise, or you're not sure which photo they'd choose. The recipient can take their time picking the perfect one.
